Her expertise in de-escalation is both practical and strategic, shaped by decades of service across urban centres and some of the most remote regions of the NT.
Having lived in the Territory for more than 40 years, Moana carries an intimate understanding of the cultural, geographic, and social complexities that define our local communities. This lived experience positions her as a powerful and authentic voice in the development and delivery of trauma-informed, culturally capable de-escalation training.
Moana is a nationally accredited incident controller, defensive tactics instructor, and respected negotiation specialist. Her ability to translate real-world experience into practical, engaging training is unmatched.
She holds a strong commitment to community safety, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for young girls and women. This is reflected in her extensive work supporting vulnerable individuals through a variety of organisations and initiatives across the NT.
